HELP! I THINK MY NEW GARMENT STEAMER HAS GONE
WRONG.
I OPENED THE BOX AND THERE IS SOME WATER IN THE TANK.
There may be some water residues from our QC processes, and this is not a
cause for concern or return.
I SWITCH IT ON BUT NOTHING HAPPENS Is the plug connected
correctly? Have you got water in the tank? If it’s the first use, it can take up to
5-minutes for the steam system to become wholly functional.
I ACCIDENTALLY USED THE GARMENT STEAMER WITH NO
WATER. HAVE I DAMAGED THE STEAM STEAMER? The Steam
Steamer is fitted with an automatic safety system, and in the event of dry use it
will operate to cut the power, although the unit will get hot until the temperature
that triggers the safety devices is reached. Switch off and leave to cool before
correct re-use.
I CAN HEAR THE MOTOR WORKING BUT NO STEAM COMES OUT
Check you have water in the tank AND it is fitted correctly. If you haven’t used
the Garment Steamer for some time, it will take a few minutes to get up to
steam. There may be a small degree of water spit from the Steam handle before
first use, this is entirely normal, Ensure the Steam hose is not kinked – note that
this gets hot in use.
I WAITED UNTIL STEAM IS AVAILABLE BUT WATER, NOT STEAM,
COMES OUT THE STEAMER HEAD Steam can remain in the system from
previous use, this may condense back to liquid state from steam state. This
water may remain inside until the next use, and it may be ejected as water at the
outset of the new steaming session. This is normal and is not a cause for
concern or return.
